  11. is reasonable for the students to demand immediate change in
  12. government policy. Also, is it necessary to destabilize the
  13. leadership, which has shown moderation and provided significant
  14. socioeconomic liberation?

  19. daring students, workers and ordinary citizens in Tiananmen
  20. Square have sent the authoritarian regime a clear message: the
  21. days of tyranny are numbered.

  26. nation struggling to regain its past grandeur and world status.
  27. The students are China's conscience, and the leaders must
  28. listen. But completely adopting the democratic systems of the
  29. industrialized West is unwise for a developing society with a
  30. billion people.
